hi after been told that i had a rare form of cervical cancer in jan 2008, i was deverstated. but now afer major surgery i have come out fighting. i am now doing the race for life, i have never ran before so iv decided just to walk as i will still be recovering. iam only 4 weeks post op so training is out of the question just now. but just looking for some support with training so if there is anyone else out there who needs really support with training or just needs a buddy to do the race please get in touch, i will start training for this race in april time, i just feel i need to give back something as this is the 3rd time cancer has hit our family, my auntie who is currently going through chemo for bowel cancer, myself and sadly by grandma who died in 1981 with pancatic cancer. we need all the help we can get to fight all the cancers. so if any one has any other fundraising ideas please get in touch!!
