Hi Deena,

Glad to hear you are doing the Moonwalk this year. I am too, but I'm afraid I am not in Dorset. There are 11 (maybe 10 now!) who live in Banstead, Surrey and 2 from Norwich who are doing it this year.

It must be difficult training on your own. There is a page on the walk the walk website for advertising for fellow walkers.

How has your training been going so far? It sounds like you had a walking partner but not now?

I managed to persuade a number of friends to do the moonwalk as my sister had breast cancer (finished her treatment in August) and a good friend of mine is going through chemo at the moment, we have been doing quite a bit of training - got up to 14.5 miles last week (well 3 of us did!) but luckily we still have a way to go.

If you are walking on your own on the 17th - let me know and we can meet up, I'll introduce you to our crowd and you are welcome to walk with us.

Good luck with the training and finding someone mad enough to do it with you in the Dorset area!!!!

Best wishes
Kim
