Hi Doreen,

I'm happy to meet up with you in Tesco's car park at Winnall, Winchester which is just off the M3. We will just need to work out a time.

I am gutted!

Can't make sunday, my hubby works on the railway, so I must be the only person in the whole world who does not realise that there are engineering works and the trains aren't running from Rugby to London! And don't anyone suggest driving, I'd only kill myself in the city.......

I missed it last time I did an event. Gutted!. Don't for get to fill me in about what they do down there. Oh well if the weather is nice on Sunday I can do more cycling, gardening and ringing Rugby clubs.

You've got your sat nav, that should take you around the outskirts if you put the faster route on. Is there no one else going from your area?

Hi Julz,

Yes, you did need to book for it. It was on a first come, first serve basis as they have invited all the groups.

Hi Sarah
That would be great to meet at Tescos. What about 10.30am? I've a fair idea where we are going, but I'll bring a sat nav just in case! There will be two more spaces in the car for anyone with a pass to go. Sorry you can't come Jules. Elaine can't go either, so Sarah and I and others will have to fill you in.

I don't mind either about driving, I put it on the sat nav yesterday just to see how long it would take. So mine is already set up.
Is anyone going to be wearing their Women for Women t-shirt tomorrow?
Are you going to come tomorrow Donna?

Hi,

Rob, knows london really well, am trying to persuade him to take me down, using the tack that he could see if the kids want to visit the V&A or natural history musuem. Don't think I'll know for sure until loads later, but outlook at the moment is grim and I'm not driving myself. Mavis is going, but they going to a friends after so no one local. But not to worry, because come the actual event Rob is taking me to the airport......... so I won't be missing that! ( oh fingers crossed and touch wood) very superstitious.

See you soon

Sarah, how long did your sat nav say it would take for the journey? I was allowing time to get parked, looking on google, but hopefully it should be ok on a Sunday. I'm happy driving.

Hi,

As I said Rob knows his way round London & is putting me on the train from Northampton........... I have to navigate my own way round the underground, OMG I hate that, but he has planned that route for me as well. So will be coming after all HURRAY. I've allowed quite of bit of time for going in the wrong direction and having to come back on myself!

See you there tomorrow. Bring me some tickets Sarah, I forgot them when seeing you last.

Crying [:'(] school fare
Reply Quote
well did school fare and was absolutely hopeless made nothing!!hardly anyone turned up..

however did manage to nab a few free things that were left over from the white elephant that i can sell on ebay and amazon!!

and also managed to secure the bbq slot at their bbq night, as im doing it for charity they didnt see it as a problem, so hopefully will be able to make a few hundred there.

definately need to play to their stomachs..
rugby club have also said we can do curry stall at the fun day so a few more hundred there, good job hubby is a dab hand in the kitchen..

have to say fundraising this time round is harder as dont think many poeple have a lot of free cash..

Julz, hows it going your end? hope things are coming together, anything lined up?
im so envious of those that are already at target!!

Please give us poor souls some good idea's...

Hi Doreen, it says it should take 1hr 24mins, but that is from by house, so it's probably 1hr 15mins from Tesco's. Where you start to pull into Tesco's there is a little way into the carpark opposite the exit to the petrol station, I'll meet you just in that area to right at 10.30. I've got a sort of greeny/blue picasso.

Sorry to hear your school fare didn't go well Angie.

I thought you could only buy on amazon, didn't realise you could sell on there as well.

Oh bummer Angie, no worries at least you got another event out of it, and yes I think you are right about stomachs, speaking of which I'm going to try the fudge again tonight. I've rescued the slab of marble from the bottom of the garden, just going to put it into my nice cool garage to get cold........

see you've started a new counter, at least you have something on it which is very good news, I'm sure with all the events you have planned it'll grow nice and quick.

Sarah, what time do you think you and Doreen will get there tomorrow?
