Idea [I] Accounts on Just Giving partner sites
Reply Quote
I created an account on the main Just Giving site a few weeks ago to make a donation to someone raising money for a Multiple Sclerosis charity. Tonight I wanted to make another donation to someone raising money for Cancer Research. As they are partnered with Just Giving for receiving donations, I expected I would be able to use the same account details, but when I tried to sign in my details weren't recognised. I had to create a new account to send my donation, but that means the money I donated tonight doesn't show in my total on my main account.

Is it possible that one account created with Just Giving could work on any site partnered with you for donations?

Thank you.

Jonathan

Hi Jonathan,

Some of our partnership sites (such as Cancer Research UK's Race for Life) have their own domains and their own group of users - that's why you'd see our logo but still have to create a new account. It is up to our charity clients whether or not they want to allow our users to reuse their accounts on the bespoke sites we build for them.

I hope this answers your question!

Kind regards,

Elizabeth
