I have 2 girls 12 and 8 - they keep me very busy running around taking them to dancing etc
It is a shame wont be able to meet but Jane has her own shop and so cant close on a Saturday - although maybe able to meet up for a drink if you not heading home too early?
How do you manage to train with 3 children so young?!!!!!

Wow Sarah I'm impressed that you've even considered doing the ride with 3 children and all under 6- how do you manage to get through a day
let alone think of the ride- which I reckon is another baby anyway! Mine is 3 1/2 (going on 13!!) and I've got 2 mad dogs which also keep me busy.
My hubby is moaning about me desserting him for 10 days already and I've only got 1 little one!!
Judith- hope we meet up at a later ride.

I know i think being a bit mad helps!!!!!!!!
I've got a very good husband but at the moment i am getting up early sat or sun morning before everyone else to ride. However, i have warned hubby that soon it will be for whole days but at the moment he seems ok. He's been on at me for a long time to do something for myself. When we first met i was very sporty but then 3 kids later that disappears. Also my dad died recently age 63 and my dad's dad at 58 of heart attacks so he is keen for me to keep fit. Anyway thats a bit deep............
Jude not sure what time i'm leaving sat night probably not too late as it will take me nearly 4 hours to get back but what about fri - obviously we will all meet up fri night, perhaps you and your sister could come and meet us all before you ride with them sunday, although i'm not sure how far away you live.
Hopefully all the march 09 can meet up on a training day soon.
Post soon

Hi everyone
Have been reading the Cuba 08 girls thread re their A4C letters with interest and then I got one with all our fellow riders listed today.
Makes it all seem real now!
Has anyone else had a letter yet? If so are you going to go to the meeting in London on 18th May. I'm def up for it as think it will be very interesting to
know more about the charities work.
Did a ride in cold and wind on Sunday and my coccyx still suffering! Hope you're still all out there........

Hi Denise
I am doing the second ride in November, and just wondered where you were in london. I live in Essex, but not far from the East End, and I thought that once you get your bike, you may want to join me for a bit of training, their does not seem to be many girls from our area or if there are I have not found them yet, I could do with a cycle buddy.
Let me know what you think.
I have already returned my form for the 18th May, so it will be great to meet up with everyone.

Hiya,
Just wanted to pop in to say "Hello!" My name's Catherine and I live in the South Wales area.
I'm also doing the event in March '09 and although it's a lot of work, I'm really looking forward to it, does that make me a masochist?!?!?!
Anyway, it's great to have a list of names now, I have sent the form back to go to the meeting on May 18th, so hope to meet many of you there :-)

Don't worry Sarah it's Ok to reply to yourself ! It's my birthday today and the sun is shining... i'd really like to be out on my bike
but hey will have to go and do some gardening with my 3 year old instead ! What i'd really like for my birthday is for loads of
friends and people i've given flyers to, to go on my page and start donating as they promised..I think people have trouble with the
time concept of it all. does anyone have any suggestions?? ![Indifferent [:|]](/emoticons/emotion-8.gif)

Happy birthday Clare, the sun is shining well here in Wales too, great to see it out for a change!! A lovely day for a birthday :-)
As for donations, at the moment I'm doing more events than getting friends to donate I haven't sent a sponsorship form around my friends as yet.
I'm planning on doing a sort of big event every other month, not majorly big, just like curry nights, or a car treasure hunt (which I'm doing on Sunday). So that the same group of people aren't paying out all the time.
By the time the final date comes for getting the funds in I'm sure people will be sick of me asking for money!
Anyway, Happy Birthday again Clare, enjoy your day.
