Hi all you girls going to Jordan,
I have signed up for Jordan but maybe wont be so keen after Cuba. I hope so!
I am selling tablet everywhere and i HAVE SOLD 654 BAGS SINCE jULY FOR funds for Jordan. I had money from prize bingo so my total so far £1,654 for Jordan. I am really pleased as it has been easy to raise the monies so far. Baking stall on sat before xmas raised £372 last year so hopefully will do well this year.
Alyg and training. I had great intentions last year of losing 6stone and being really fit and thin and I have done none of it. I have lost just over 4 stone still very very large and worried about fitness for Cuba. Anyway to late to do much about it now but always next year and I am going to give Cuba my best shot.

Hi Girls
Finally got back on your forum.
Got my pack and now all official for Jordon next year, Registered for first ride. Everyone is thinking me mad as a hatter as i haven't even done Cuba yet and signed up for next year. I am sure Donna will agree with that statement as she has had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting me!!
Linny - which part of plymouth are you from as if you want we can meet up and cycle or even try doing joint fundraising events as 2 heads and contacts are better than 1.
Bit gutted today as was planning a weekend of cycling and going to attempt 50 miles back to back but instead had to trail into town to sort out walkman which has been playing up and at mo trying to download music onto new one so sittting grumbling and wishing i was on my bike as this morning weather gorgeous and now dark clouds are coming so i have missed the best of the day.

Hi Angie, I'm here. It sounds like they're having a great time in Cuba. I can't believe they've got internet access and a swimming pool! It seems so different to India. I wonder what it will be like in Jordan.
I have been a bit desultory on the training front. Haven't really been out on my bike for ages although I am still doing aquafit and went back to the gym (after a looooooong break) yesterday.
The fund raising is getting under way. Carole and I have a snail race planned for next Saturday night in our village hall. We have sold 53 tickets at £10 a head so far out of the 60 we can seat. The great thing is that some of my India buddies are coming to support us complete with their other halves! We are serving a two course meal followed by the race spectacular. I'll let you know how it goes. It did cost some money to buy the dvd but we have managed to get each of the races sponsored which has helped to offset that. We are having a bar, a tote and of course a raffle, so fingers crossed we will make a good amount.
