I'm panicking listening to you all going on about what big bags you've got - mine's tiny and I'm beginning to worry now that I'm not bringing enough stuff! What's everyone wearing to the airport apart from the very fetching t-shirts? Thought I would probably just pop a pair of jogging bottoms on as they'll be comfortable for the journey and I can pretend I'm sporty!
I'm so tired now as I haven't slept well for the past couple of nights - I've got big bags under my eyes which isn't a good look. Not sure I'll get much sleep tomorrow night either but then at least I might have a snooze on the plane.

Hiya
thank you everyone for so much support - i am not wearing the t-shirt in the airport as it so tight and not stretchy that it will just be uncomfortable - will bring some balloons though and may attach these to my person!
bec - it was £120 for the hotel and parking and thankyou for remembering as i had forgotten
only one more sleep to go - actually will be just fine when i see you guys in the bar!

Hi Girls!
Try Nytol. I took 4 last night and slept like baby. I also have a jumbo bottle of calms for the journey!
I am definately not wearing my top to the airport.

have just spoken to action for charity about who i am sharing with and they said that they can change things at this stage - what do you want to do? if you want to share with me then i can let them know otherwise we can leave it - promise wont be offended either way :-)

will just take one pair of trainers then instead of the three pairs i have lined up! still haven't packed the bag yet so they probably wouldn't have fit in anyway!
where is everyone putting their saddle? in the hold or hand luggage?
good idea about the balloons, at least we'll spot you easily enough. apparently anne has got spare tshirts out there!
must, must , must go and start packing now!!!

Oh dear, the tears have started. I'm quite impressed that it's taken this long but now I've started it's going to be hard to stop...!

bec i know what you mean about the tears mine have been on since i eventually started packing a few hours ago! i'm sure we will all be the same and once we are there we will be too busy cycling to be crying xxx

It's going to be fantastic so please don't worry! We've all got the same fears and anxieties so we'll know how each other is feeling and there will be lots of comfort and encouragement from everyone and don't forget I've got the Minstrels and alcohol can be provided...... please note my positive mood as it might not last till Friday!!
See some of you at the hotel tomorrow night and the rest of you at the airport on Friday!!

Don't you believe it - there will be lots of tears!!!!! I speak from experience - I did India in 2007! Happy tears, sad tears, tears of frustration, but you know what...??? ITS FANTASTIC!!!!!!! You are going to have a brilliant time. Signing up for India is one of the best things I have ever done..I will treasure the memories and the friends I have made through it, forever.
So, girlies, go and have a wonderful time!

and we are off!!!!!!!!!!!!!! all the months of hard work and we are finally there :-)
managed to get my work finished yesterday and went out last night with my girly freinds - its a good job they are muslim otherwise would have had a hard job staying sober last night.
no tears yet - haven't been away for this long without family or the hubby for years so they may arrive yet - we both have the day off today but have left him asleep so that i can gather myself and do my last minute ipod updating - just realising how bad my music taste has been in the past (and probably now) when going through all my cid's

Hi Everyone
Well here we all are at the starting line. I am trying to concentrate on work ( yet again!) without much success.
Becs, please try not to be too upset, you have worked so hard towards this and it is all going to be worth it. I know it is slightly easier for me as my kids are much older but it is only because you are such a good Mum that you are upset. They will be fine even if you do come back to a pigsty and kids hooked on junk food! I hope your little boy is OK.
Ellie, bet my Ipod playlist is more outdated than yours! I have such a bizarre mix.
Cant believe I am saying this but I will see you all this afternoon!!

A huge huge thank you to all the lovely ladies I have met this week. We are all amazing and I still am in shock that I have actually done it and got back in one piece!
An especially big thank you to my lovely mate Jane who has put up with me all week and made the whole experience so enjoyable......Ta duck xxx
Have had my bath now off to eat my Sunday roast that my hubby has so lovingly prepared...............hope it doesnt upset my tum again! I am miffed that I darent have a glass or two with it.
Where are you event 3 ladies?? Hope you are not stuck enroute somewhere. The cheers you gave us on our arrival into Havana were great,

hi everyone
i can't believe we are all back. i am still in shock about it all and just cannot stop talking about it (doing my hubby's head in already!) it was so lovely to meet you all that were on event 4.
thankyou to all of you on event 3 who cheered and waved at the airport it gave us a hugely positive vibe and got us excited about what was to come.
i am on face book as niki jones, mine is the picture with the pink hair (from my hen night!) it would be great to keep chatting.
well girls i think that we ar all amazing and deserve several glasses of champers to celebrate later.
