Welcome - PLEASE READ THIS FIRST
Hello, and welcome to the Justgiving Forums.

Here, you'll find lots of likeminded people raising funds for causes they care about by doing all sorts of wonderful things.

Before you start posting, please take a second to read the following few pointers that will help you make the most of the forums.

1. Always include your fundraising page URL

Whenever you post on the forum, please include your web address so other forum users can check out your page and, if you've got a photo on there, put a face to a name.

To include a link to your page in your post, highlight the text you want to become a link and click the link icon in the message toolbar (the  green dot with the little chain underneath it). Then put your web address in the pop up box that appears.

You can also add your web address to your signature by clicking the Your Profile tab.

2. Don't expect donations from other forum users

Everyone on this forum is raising funds so whilst you might pick up the odd donation from very nice people, generally the purpose of the forum is to share hints and tips and help each other raise more money. Don't post just to appeal for funds - share ideas instead!

3. Use the search box

If you want to find other people doing the same event as you, or raising funds for the same charity, search for an exisiting forum thread on that topic by putting the name of your event or charity in the search box in the top right hand corner of this page. You'll find people much quicker than if you simply post to say "Is anyone else doing..."

4. Be respectful

Please don't be mean to other people, or use bad language, because we won't be your friend anymore if you do. And then we'll ban you.

Thanks for reading, and happy posting!
James
