It official - I love you all!!

Everyone is so busy with their lives, but you all still find time to offer to help each other out.  Suz, you are definately stewarding, don't forget I have that in writing now!!

I've got a right dilemma now - I have to lose weight and find a killer dress for the Ball!  So off to spinning now for a killer class with Rob, boy am I pleased to have him back in my life! (he's been off after having reconstructive knee surgery).

All the dates are duly noted, and now I'm wracking my brains on how to promote the Tea for China.

Got to fly........

Love Linds x

Wink [;)] AFC have nicked our Somerset date!
Reply Quote
Linds,

I have a confession, I haven't been keeping fit as I promised myself that I would since the disco! So you are doing well.

Did everyone get the letter from AFC today, they've nicked our somerset date!

Debs we'll have to pick another! If we are gonna do the official one.

So Suz, you're gonna steward, they may decide to put me on that if my face painting isn't up to scratch! But honest I'm easy whatever you want girls for the cycle day.

I quite fancy staying on, would love to see the terracotta warriors what a treat and Rob says I'd be mad not to stop.

Hiya

I know, my heart sank when I saw those dates!!I never said a word about Somerset - promise!!  I don't mind if we go to the official one or not, there's another one later on.  Is anyone going to the information day?  Might be another good excuse for a jolly if nothing else lol!

Donna, re face painting, if you google it, you'll find lots of tips!

See you soon

Hi

Let's change the Somerset date and do the official one, I haven't done one before so it will be a good one to aim for in terms of having to be ultra fit for that weekend. June seem's busy for everyone with other thing's, so shall we change it for early September, maybe once the schools have gone back? or if school hol's suit you mum's best then just suggest a weekend?

I am going to go to the info day!

Busy day today, we have something living in our loft so we are clearing it out, 4 house moves full of boxes - I wonder what we will find? Hopefully only a mouse!!

Love Deb (Taunton) even I'm getting confused with two Deb's x

Hi

Just looked at the messages on the forum. Boy I will really have to look at it daily, there are so many. It difficult to keep up with all the events. I will have to go back through and make sure I have all the dates in my diary.

Linds and Elaine, re the ball. Its going to be brill and at this moment in time you are welcome to stay at my place, I can put up two couples.

Mavis I hope all went well in New York. Hope to see you soon. We must get together with Donna for a meal and get to grips with the ball.

Oh Deena, thanks for offering to put us up, that would be great thanks.

I'm really gutted, I've been trying to sort my new (very old) caravan out and have discovered its full of rot!  Only one place for it, and thats the scrap heap!  What a waste of money.  Thought I might be able to sort it out but its beyond hope. :(

Someone come up with a date for Somerset, and I'll be there.

Hi Girls
Managed a ride last week from iain then home and back again in the evening shame the weather chanded in afternoon i got soaked. Now off nights so out on it again today as sun shining and no threat of rain on return journey.

May have a local pub interested in helping me with something so going to see her tomorrow with all the info and try and sell the charity if not me!!!

Aly a special thank you to you as you helped me get a question right in the pub quiz last night. The question was which is the closest town to Ben nevis and the rest of the team were coming up with possibilities and i remembered how you boast of the views when out on your bike so i said Fort William and i was right!!!! I felr very pleased with myself cos if i hadnt have the pleasure of knowing you that would be a snippet of information i wouldn't have known

speak soon
Amanda

Hi

Like you Elaine I got locked out and had to recreate myself, hence Nannygoat 2. Not very imaginative I know but hey ho.

I am doing a table top sale this weekend to raise more funds. Roped my daughter in to help. Hope its really busy and people are feeling generous.

I am up for the info day as I missed it last time round.

Donna, how about a coffee trip soon?

Hi you pair, Von, Many congratulations to you and hubby on your new precious wee grandchild. Hope he like his wee present. I need you pair to be full of motivation when you hit the Highlands in April to spur me on so get a grip and get cycling!! I havent been out myself but hey ho easy to lecture than cycle. We need the pair of you to keep the forum up and positive and I can still see your rear ends as they cycled into the distance in Cuba leaving me far behind!!Love to you both.
So please about quiz girl. I look at it every day from my window. Today she has on her winter mantle and has a beautiful cape of bright sparkling snow draped across her. The sun set tonight was breathtaking so I will try to order one for April. I cant wait for you all to come up. I have not done any fund raising since Jordan and need to get motivated but sometimes not so easy.
Love to you all

Aly, you are our inspiration. We are really looking forward to visiting and know what a fab time the girls will have. Do we have to cycle ALL the time though? The canal path was very pretty and flattish.
Now that I am dreaming I think I shall go to bed and continue it.
Sleep well XXXX

Hi all,

Pleased to report that I (or rather should I say Donna) have booked by flight to Scotland, so really looking forward to it.  No doubt it will come whizzing round just like everything else!

I too have a fundraiser on this weekend, a craft sale, and I'm doing the teas!  No lie in for me on Sunday.

See you Friday Elaine, just txt me your address and postcode, cheers.
