Really looking forward to this weekend. Hope the weather improves somewhat. I am planning to get to the ferry terminal about 7.30am just to be sure to get a space. Sarah has mentioned that even though we are booked on the 8am it is no gaurantee if it is busy. I dont think you will miss us Amanda, its not that big a departure area. Which camp site are you staying at? X E

I'll be there just after 7.30 too ... 8am ferry.
Weather forcast is looking ok for sunday. thankfully. Getting train from Hamble at 7.19am, takes about 15 minutes I believe to Southampton Central then ride down the hill to ferry port

Hi Julz
Did you check with the train service about putting your bike on. Apparently they are getting a bit funny about bikes on trains. Might be worth checking, if there is a problem then we could probably sort something else out for you.

Hi.. Hamble is a totally unmanned station, not even a ticket machine so no way of checking directly, so will take a chance, I'll get a couple of stops before they even notice.. lol. No.. seriously I looked on the booking site and info there says it should be ok for bikes.
Looking forward to it but really think I will only go as far as the shorter ride

Hi everyone,
Because of my knee problem I went to ee a physio at the local recreation centre. They were very good and have hopefully found out what my problem is. So if you don't mind, if I have any knee problems whilst cycling, if someone could just give me a massage and then find an ice pack, I should be ok. Any takers.
The weather is looking quite good for Sunday at the moment, the wind should drop yeh! it's going to warm up yeh! but it may rain a bit boo!
I will warn you Donna, what with decorating and working the house is looking a complete tip at the moment, so I will apologize in advance. DON'T FORGET YOUR CAMELBAK!!!

What is it with the weather forcast these days. I'm dreadful now, always checking the weather, especially for wind speed. Sunday started off by being fabulous, now it's changing hourly. Also it depends on what channel you listen to or what website you look at. I'm sure it will be a lovely day, especially the good company. Donna and I will also get to Southampton ferry for 7.30. Look forward to seeing you all.

Macs are packed, we ready to go. Only one hickup in that I twisted my thumb at work and Von has tennis elbow. Sarah, you have your knee, how about everyone else?
Does anyone carry a spare inner tube with narrow valve. Picked up the wrong one today and now shops are shut. Of course we wont need one.....touch wood. X E

Hi Elaine,
Donna has just said not to worry as she has an adaptor you can use. It will be fine. How did you twist your thumb at work? Tell Von we won't have time for tennis. I've got loads of pain killers for my knee and for anyone else that might need them.
I also have lots of Jelly Babies, Boost Bars and flapjacks. We'll be zooming round!
