Girls put message on other posting for Sarah M, asking if its ok to join them. Asked her to post us back.

Heather are you up for it? If not, perhaps we could arrange something else for nottingham sometime with your friend sarah.

Hi everyone,

I have been looking at the map, for some reason I thought there was a Youth Hostel at Banbury but there isn't. How would you feel about going to Stow-on-the-Wold, it isn't that far away from Banbury. It has 48beds. Can you all let me know as soon as possible about this please.

As my sister Jane lives in Banbury we would both like to join in the cycling but will stay at her house. Hope this is OK?

Hi All
Very sad news re Aly. It's a terrible thing to happen anyway , but to someone you know it's even worse- so sorry.

I would have loved to have come too on the Banbury weekend but we will be on holiday - next time maybe! I don't want you to think I'm not interested because I am!
You mentioned the 1st, Sarah, I could do the Sunday but nothing else! Still trying to rack my brain as to where would be a central place for everyone- difficult!

Dear all
I am starting a new thread for the 14 March ride. It will go from Stow on the Wold in Gloucstershire rather than Banbury as there is no youth hostel in Banbury. (not that far away even though a different county)

Hope to see many of you there.

Aly - I was so sad to hear your news. I heard the news report on the radio but never thought that anyone I had contact with would have personal knowledge. You are a strong lady so you will come through it.

Hi everyone,

Just to update everyone with what is happening as it has got a tad complicated.

Burley - This then changed to Stow on the Wold, the only problem is that the Youth Hostel is being refurbished and won't be open in March. The other place we could try is Stratford Upon Avon. Would this be any good for cycling from?

Sorry, things are never as straight forward as you think they're going to be.

Sarah xx

Hi Jane,
Have a look at the Banbury link, it has now changed to Stratford. It has all the info you need on it. Look forward to meeting you on 14th March.

Hi Sarah

I expect everyones gone quiet for a while.I decided to just read the messages and not post for a bit as was getting obsessed and

thought it would be better to concentrate on training, fundraising etc and hubby kept saying your on that website again aren't you! Hows yours going?

I went out on my bike for 1st time in 4 years yesterday bit wobbly to start with but did 2 hours then measured with string on map

(my cycle computer thing has died!) was 19 miles! Not bad for first attempt My fundraising is going slow tho, people seem interested then

don't commit. Decided not to go to Stratford this time as funds short and want to get my fitness up first before we all meet.

My bum is sore today!!Embarrassed [:$]

know what you mean clare, i feel like i have to check postings every day - was a bit lost when internet went down. This is such a big thing to me and its on my mind all the time (even if i get up for a pee in the middle of the night)

My hubby often asks as i return from the computer 'hows your new cycle bubbies'.....he is glad i'm doing it but can't understand why i'm always checking the computer like my life depends on it. I've obviously got too much time on my hands.(i'm on maternity leave)

Fundraising is going slow too, like you people say wow yeah great i'll sponsor you but then i hear no more. I'm bad at asking for money but i guess i better sort that quick. Had a little peek at your just giving site, i must set mine up. i'm in the process of typing my begging letter to family and friends but finding it hard to get across its not a holiday.

By the way 19 miles thats briliant, well done and your first time.

Anyway must go, hubby away tonight and kids need bathing.

see ya sarah B

Apologies all for not getting in touch recently, I have just celebrated my xx Birthday and have been really busy and to make you all even more jealous I have just come back from a weekend in Rome with my husband and no children!!

Only problem with all this is I havent managed to get in much training!
Have promised myself this week that I am now back and have no more excuses so must get out

My sister Jane and I will be making the weekend of 14th March but only on the Sunday Im afraid - hope that doesnt cause too many problems?

Must log on more regularly in future I agree need to keep the momentum going
