It will be my first time. Got my wetsuit today and I'm excited. I honestly think that is a stupid thing to be when facing a triathlon!

It is the best thing ever. I started doing Tri's 3 years ago and am now addicted. The London Tri is BRIL. It is the largest and has a great atmosphere. Every year I have increased and am now planning on 4 Tri's in the summer.
Talk to as many people as possible about the event, training for it (including the transitions) and the kit needed.
Hope you enjoy it!

I think I'd count myself as excitedly nervous.
For you experienced lot out there what should I expect from the start of the swim?! If it's anything like a big run I have visions of getting my teeth kicked out or something! Also just how easy is it to draft in the swim? Cheers for your knowledge in advance

Hey everyone!
I'm running in my first ever triathlon, (well my first ever type of fundraiser!!!!).
Im running for the Stroke association, which is the only UK wide charity solely concerned with combating stroke in people of all ages.
I'm running for my Grandmother who passed away recently from a stroke.
Any tips on my first triathlon, feel free to reply or visit my site at www.justgiving.com/grahampooles.
Would hugely appreciate any small donations, as I don't have any yet <img src="/emoticons/emotion-9.gif" alt="Crying [:'(]" />
