Hi Lorraine,

I was only thinking about you yesterday and wondering how the arrangements for the ball were progressing.  I also have a few ballons and will pop them in an envelope to you.  Jane and Judith are due back this week-end and I guess they will then start sorting out the next week-end.  Tomorrow is my last day before I go to Crete for a month - so no training.  When I come back it will mean really going for it - I have already signed up for spinning classes twice a week so I will either be dead fit or just dead!!!

Hope the ball goes really well -  I was so impressed with all the arrangement you told us about you really deserve it to be a smash hit, and don't forget to enjoy it as well.  I shall look forward to seeing everyone again at the training week-end at the end of October if not before, by which time it will be just over 4 months till we go - how scary is that!

Try clopton orchard farm b&b, upper quinton
www.cloptonorchardfarm.co.uk
Theres two rooms, 4 of us stayed there last year...very reasonable, lovely breakfast, and a 5 minute cycle ride to Lower Quinton and Vicarage Farm. Am assuming thats where you are meeting for the training weekend, as we did!

Hi there

Just wondered how everyone was doing? It has all gone very quiet on this part of the forum

I had a great holiday in France and am now getting down to some serious fundraising and training!

I have a Garden Party planned for this Sunday 21st September so if anyone lives around the Stoke on Trent area it would be lovely to see you
It starts at 14.00 and there is afternoon tea and a bbq together with games etc

Hopefully see alot of you at the training weekend in October but please keep posting I really think it keeps us all going

Hi Judith,

I agree we must get back to posting on this thread- I am sure everyone is just busy doing stuff with the new school term etc.
I am managing to go out cycling 3 mornings a week as my little poppet has gone off to school- I am hoping all my thunder thighs will turn into pure muscle now!

On the fundraising front really excited today coz I've just sent some more money in to A4C today and it takes me over my target ! YEAH! I am so relieved- if I can do it anyone can. Now I can concentrate on losing more weight.

I hope everyone else is ok and that you have nice weather for your garden party Judith.

Good luck everyone else!
