Cycling weekend?

Sue, does that mean you want to sleep in the ensuite? There are four double rooms each with an ensuite so who ever is sharing the room might not like you to be in there. Will email you the address.
Amanda, hope you have a good hol and your knee shows a lot of improvement by then.

Elaine,

Could you as secretary pass on my thanks to Von, yes please....

Parachuting are you completely bonkers? I would love to be that brave, but no thank you.

Sue would your daughter be able to make it?

Just because I'm excited, MY LAST DAY AT WORK TOMORROW, NEW JOB ON MONDAY.....

Did you see the surgeon Amanda?

And how are the peanut butter cups sales going? I'll be doing a batch for the local fete on 27th June. so fingers crossed that should be a winner.

Car booting again on saturday weather permitting wish me luck I want to get rid of it all, never to have to darken a car boot sale again.... or is that just me being over optomistic?

Donna

Hi

Hope you have a good last day at work. All the best for Monday. Good luck with the car boot might do one next week.

Amanda, sorry the knee is not as good as you hoped it would be. MRI scan should sort it out.

Went to see Take That last night, they were brill.

Deena,

Did get your text, but phone is charging, would love to come on 21st. Don't know if I'll manage 26 miles. Haven't been out for a few weeks !!!!!!!

Take that, it must have been the whole of Rugby that went, glad you had a great time. Did you get caught in the rain on the way out?

And are you up for Von's or is that when you're away?

Deb are you still lurking? you up for this one?

Donna

That is soooo unfair, I want to come and stay with you all even if it meant sleeping on the kitchen floor but I will be on holiday. You would not get me jumping out of a plane, I struggle with flying in them let alone jumping out of it, madness, total madness, YOU'RE ALL MAD - but strangely lovable.
Amanda you must be so frustrated with your knee. Your physio sounds like a right plank. I really hope it is sorted out soon for you.
Donna, you will have to get a Smart Car, there is no room in the boot for anything, no chance of you being able to do more car boot sales. Good luck with your new job, I'm sure you're really going to love it.
Lucky you Deena, i would love to see them, I gather they are amazing.

Missing you all

Hi .. sorry cant make the weekend as I too will be away 12th - 25th July! Had to postpone my bunion op too as it came through for July 2nd! Not enough time to recover enough before flying out and no way I am gonna be stuck in the house unable to go on the beach or in the sea when I'm on my own in 40 degree heat! No way I could get any money back on my flights either so hoping that will now be at the end of July or beginning or August.
Seriously considering not doing this ride now to be honest! Have to think long and hard!

Anyways you all have a good time and perhaps catch up towards the end of the summer

i just hope i dont eat them all before i bag them.....

found venue for next summers ball, no room charge!!

have choice of band or dj?
dj is cheaper, do you think as its a summer ball it should be a band?
if i have dj it will make the tickets cheaper...

so many choices, so much money to raise....

Hey all,

Ahh Sarah & Angie shame you can't make it..... there will be others!

Didn't car boot today... my bed was too comfy... but the day wasn't a disaster, I've arranged for me and Deena to go tin rattling at a local garden centre in July.

Angie, don't know what to say re dj or band, we're going down the band route. At least you've managed to get it with no room charge.

Other things you could look into are:

no corkage
no cancellation charges
How much is the food costing you per person?

Good luck with the peanut butter cups. How's your totaliser going?

Paula, would you and your daughter like to come on the training weekend, it won't be to tough we're all out of condition apart from Lindsey.

Ok ladies,

I know you all love the cotswolds rides, this is open to all, does anyone fancy making a date in their diary for toward the end of August to come up Stratford way for a weekend for some practise. We have to start seriously practising some time, for those of us that haven't got on for a while!

All thoughts and suggestions welcome

Ok Donna, I have finished all my gardening chores and was looking at bike and thinking 'ride, pimms, ride, pimms. Guess what won. You had best count me in for training otherwise I will be NEVER get on a bike again. Get a date organised and I will book it off from work.

Lurvin the sun and feeling guilty that I wont be cycling next weekend. I will be marshalling at Lymington and will make sure I spoil you girls that have registered www.solenchallenge.org.uk for anyone else that fancies some serious training or simply a good day out.

Hi All,

I'm very chuffed with myself, I cycled 64miles and am totally cream crackered. We had one bread halfway round and that was it. When I got to 4Omiles I wanted to sit on the side of the road and just cry. I now have this very weird hand thing going on. It looks like when a werewolf is going to change and his hand starts bobbling about, if I start growing hairs then I shall really worry. I think I may have done some nerve damage.
I'm up for cycling at the end of August.

Take care everyone

Hi Sarah, well done you on doing 64 miles. Most I have managed this year is 25 but hoping to do 27 on Sunday on a charity ride, Persuaded Donna to come to keep me company. Hope the hand does not get any worse. Cannot make end of August as I am going away with my son and family to France. Seem to be missing out on catching up with everyone.

Hi Girls

I would sleep any where just to be with you lot lolx

Do you think I should ask my Vicky to come, cos she will be joining us in China.  Also can we hire bikes anywhere, I cant get a bike on my mini.  I have a confession I have not been on a bike since coming back from Cuba how bad is that.

Donna how's the new job I hope your enjoying every minute.

Speak soon
