04-17-2009, 13:20 duracell bunny Joined on 04-17-2009 Posts 1 just a strange question- race for life hiya- just wondering if anyone who has done the race for life before could answer a question for me. sorry they may sound a bit odd, but i am a bit odd. you know when you get to your chosen venue, do you have to que up to have your name ticked off a list or is it just a case of flashing your number as you enter the venue. i have a bit of a strange phobia of queing, so i can cope with a quick flash of my number as i enter- but i dont want to have to stand there whilst they check my name off a list sorry if that sounds odd. does anyone know - thanks    Report

As long as you're wearing a number, that's it - just turn up and enjoy the day, it's great fun!    Report

You'll get a goody bag and medal at the end. It's also worth rembering that if you plan not to run this to join the back of the field. With the number of ladies and the narrowness of some of the sections of some courses it can get conjested. Leave the runners to get clear that way you'll be able to move more freely.
