Hi
To all the lovely ladies I have met in London and in Stratford and other first ride girls just wanted to wish you luck. I hope you have an absolutely amazing life changing experience and I'm so excited for you all- I've even had 2 dreams about going to Cuba this week and my ride's not til March!
You've all worked so hard with everything please just make sure you post when you get back to let us know how you've got on- the forums will go very quiet for the next 2 weeks......
Lots of love

Hi girls and Debbie (the lurker).
Sarah B, I'm taking a bit more because of stopping but would have taken that amount. (not rubbing it in obs) Great to hear your feeling a bit better, by the time we get there you'll be fine.
Sarah M, linds email isn't working, Suzi's been filling her in on whats going on. Fill us in about work at the airport, hope its not too bad!
At least you've got a couple of days to get all your stuff together from yours and Ian's Amanda. I want to go to a bookshop, but have to work for the next two days. Boo Hoo.
Aly good luck with your journey, thats a really long one you've got going there. How are we going to recognise you? Perhaps you ought to wear a carnation on your coat...
Lynne, I feel exactly the same as you except that my kids are a little (not much) younger, I have cats and the packings all done. So its just the sense of everything else except the guilt.
Be good to meet a lurker as well, I wonder how many others there are...
I'm pleased to say that my case weighs about 15ish kgs. More room for cigars on the way home.
Sarah and Clare thanks for the good wishes. Sarah are you going to do another one soon, alot of the others are signing up for Jordan.
I only have 2 more posts left and 2 more sleeps to go. Any news on the hurricane Sez?
Donna

Ok I have filled my bag and I dunno if I have enough non cycling clothes! And i am having a plug adapter panic! I don't think I have the right one! I will have to get one at the airport.
Hurricane gone- lots of damage in the se but I dunno how much it has affected the bits we are going to- we'llhavr to wait and see.
Oh god have I packed the right stuff? Do I need spare jeans? I'm so usedto worrying about having right stuff for kids I am useless at only thinking about me!
Def no more training now- bike had no saddle or peddles!
Eeeek !!!!!!
See you in a scarily short time!

hi Sez, I've got an adaptor for all instances - they use the flat pins I think. And don't worry, I always over pack too!!
Hi Sarah M, I've texted your Linds address as her PC is down.
One more day of work and one more spinning class to go!! EEek!!

I am so glad i am reading other people are frrling the same as me. Today i feel sick with worry. Was up at 4 knitting and watching a dvd as i couldn't sleep. I too am worried about packing not sure if taking not enough though rather than too much.
Donna what kind of books do you like to read. I have a load of finished crime ones like Lee Child who i find pretty goood i could bring you a couple

Is anyone taking a handbag and if so, is it going in their main bag or are you carrying it with your hand luggage?
I've packed everything, I'm now ready to go.
It's going to be a long day tomorrow.
Looking forward to seeing you all. What a great time we're all going to have.

I want to throw up! I'm nervous, excited, anticipating and lots of other things that won't even go into words...
Amanda, I haven't tried that author, have a few that still haven't got around to so I'll stick with them. But thank you all the same. Are we having fairy or sliced cake?
Sarah, I'm putting a bag into my main luggage.
I can't believe its here at last, all that training and fund raising, felt as though it was never going to end.
Just like to say a very big thanks to all of you for your readily extended friendship, encouragement and help with all the little things and some of the big. Could have gone and done it on my own, but it wouldn't have been half as much fun.
Can't wait to see you all at the airport. Thats if I can keep my eyes open
Donna

Hey... well this time tomorrow I will be getting ready so say bye to my girls and heading for Southampton coach station! It will be such a long day and we'll be such a mixture of elation and anxiety!
I think I have everything I will need.. put one lot of clothes in hand luggage, and bagged the rest up day by day for easy access.
All the best to the 2nd event Cuba ladies as we wont quite be home before you lot are heading off... although I am sure we will try to post something if hotels have internet access.
See you all at the airport at stupid o'clock Thursday morning girls xx

Ok now work is out of the way. Going to pour myself a big glass of something. My nerves have overridden and I am now a zombie, just going through the motions. Found I am starting things and not finishing, walking aimlessly, shopping fanatically and to top it all, driving home tonight I ended up driving miles past my road turn off and forgot where I was when I realised I was at the wheel of the car. My head is definatly mush.
Donna, you are a star and have kept all our spirits up over these months and offered encouragement when we have been struggling. I cant imagine you being nervous, you are so together. Thankyou for being you.
Will see all at Gatwick...........just kidding.
I will be at Rownhams service station from 0.30am on Thursday. Hope you girls will make sure I get to the right place from there. Love to all XXXXXXElaine...now for that drink
