There is a very very good book about fund-raising called HOW SMALL GROUPS CAN RAISE BIG FUNDS, by Jessica Ruston.. a paperback from White Ladder Press. You can get it on amazon or any of the other online stores or any bookshop will order it. It`s packed full of really great new fundraising ideas and suggestions, it has pieces from others about fund-raising.. for example, one by the PA to Stephen Fry about how -and how NOT - to approach celebs for money and sponsorship etc. There is also lots of legal and H and S info about running events and etc. Anyone in the UK wanting an injection of new ideas or how to organise old ones etc. would find it really useful and it`s only 7.99.
