For those thinking about getting sponsored to quit smoking, you need to be aware that the tie-in between the Department of Health and Justgiving is over and that if you are still promoting www.justgiving.com/smokefree to supporters, all they'll find is a dead link.
Justgiving's Help Desk say the "initiative was just for a specific time frame so we no longer have that page
running".
Unfortunately, loads of Primary Care Trusts and charities are still promoting it: try typing in "Smoke Free Justgiving" into Google and you'll see what I mean.
