Big Smile [:D] 1st attempt at fund raising
Reply Quote
Hi guys, any ideas to improve sponsorship/support would be very welcome as this is my first attempt at fund raising. I have organised a charity ball for 250 people; ambitious I know, but hey ho may as well go the full hog. The evening features a champagne reception and three course meal, a band and DJ are organised along with a salsa club, raffle and auction. I have found there to be alot of apathy when trying to sell tickets to the event. I have advertised it on a local radio station as well as a free magazine, posters just about everywhere including work and a leaflet drop in my locality. My employers are about to do a press release for it (next week) so hopefully this will help drum up more support. Thanks alot X
