My husband and I are holding a tongue-in-cheek male beauty contest in our local community this August in aid of Everyman, but we are finding it really difficult to get sponsorship. We've tried loads of local businesses, big and small but haven't really got any where. I fear that if we don't secure sponsorship real soon we may have to call off the event. We've been in the local press and on the radio but I'm now running out of ideas or options. Any suggestions would be a great help!! Many thanks, Lisa    Report

Have you asked local pubs to enter teams at £££££s per team?  Have you a local brewery you could try?  Maybe a local gym or fitness centre/pool/spa?  You would have to approach them as individuals though, there is so much out there at the moment, you will otherwise get lost in the "noise"!
