I am organising a Charity golf day. I am raising money for Help a London Child to do a 100km Charity Trek across the Sahara Desert; Which if you think about it is like walking from London to Brighton on sand. (madness) It will be held at Chesfield Downs GC, Stevenage on Sunday 21st September 08 Tee off at 12:30 so arrival at the course by 11:30 am.
The cost of the day will be £40 which will include Coffee on arrival and Lunch + 1 round of golf, plus prizes will include a free round of golf at a Crown Golf course, a meal for 2, plus the normal golf prizes incl golf bag, balls, gloves etc etc. and we are hoping to get more and more prizes. If you can attend can you let me know ASAP as I will need to know by 20th July. Information on payment will follow 20th July to all those interested. So come on invite as many as you can, it's a great golf course and all profits will go to Charity. I am hoping to get at least 30 players, but 40 would be better.
