Hopefully get a new list of people that would like to go, it's the last weekend of May 23rd -25th. It would be a good chance to get to know each other as well as have a lovely cycle through the New Forest. There is a Youth Hostel at Burley. Look forward to hearing from you all. The guy who leads the training is so knowledgable and helpful and it was such good fun. Just make sure you get your bikes serviced before you go as there were a few problems during the day. Luckily the experts were on hand to deal with them but it does slow things up a bit. Also prepare and take a good picnic. I was staying with a friend overnight and intended to stop at a supermarket to stock up with goodies, but got lost on route and ended up going straight to the meeting point. Fortunately a few people shared with me and many more offering, though there is a pub nearby the queues were quite long. Sian    Report

Burley YHA has dorm rooms so would be good to book up as a group. I did make a provisional booking but needed the £100 deposit which I didn't have before christmas so hopefully they still have space. The only thing is that I would be late on friday, so would only need the room only and half board on the sat. If other people sent deposits at least we would definately know who would be going. If we do the same with Burley YHA as you are doing elsewhere, by calling and booking in then we dont have to worry about the deposit etc. I may come along on Saturday morning for the ride then just stay Saturday night for the social gathering. Again just quote W4W Cuba and they'll put us all together. What side of IOW are we doing? Wondering whether to get the foot ferry from Lymington Had a great ride with Elaine yesterday, which has put a bit more of a positive spin on things. There are a number of varying distances that are fun. I would still like to keep to the weekend of May 31 as have booked the time off work.
