I am extremely concerned that Justgiving has taken my donation twice for the same event. I gave the money anonymously last Sunday but it has subsequently taken the same amount and published my name on the fund-raiser's page. I had gone back to the page a few times since Sunday to see how the fundraiser was doing, and everything was fine with just my anonymous donation (plus donations by other people), but suddenly yesterday the duplicate donation had appeared on the page with my name and the same message of encouragement as the one I gave anonymously.
I only received one acknowledgement (for my anonymous donation) so there was nothing to indicate that the money would be taken twice until I saw the duplicate on the fund-raiser's page.
I've asked for the erroneous, named donation to be removed from the page and my credit card account to be refunded but have heard nothing so far, and the page still shows the duplicate donation.
This does not inspire any confidence whatsoever in Justgiving or its online system.
