Charity raising on streets

Hello!

I was wondering whether anyone can deploy to the streets with buckets for fundraising or is there some sort of law that says we cant.... any advice would be gratefully accepted! x x

Hi Lisa

You would need to apply for a license or permit to do street fundraising. If you visit www.charity-commission.gov.uk that will give you more info. My advice would be to do supermarket collections/bag packing instead, as all you need to do is write a nice letter to the store manager and hope that they are kind enough to allow you to do a collection!!
