I have a page with money I was raising for running the london marathon 2008. unfortunately injury has meant that I have had to drop out of this event and I was wondering what happens to the money people sponsored me for doing it. Will their money still be taken if i do not do the event? cheers, Jack. x

I have pulled out of the event – what should I do?

If you pull out of an event, it is very important that you cancel your fundraising page as soon as you can. This will ensure no further donations can be made to your page.
To cancel your page, please log in to your Justgiving account with your email and password. Click on ‘your fundraising pages’, then on ‘manage this page’, then finally on ‘cancel this page’.

When your page is cancelled, any pledges that have been made will be automatically cancelled. Please note that, unlike pledges, any donations made to your fundraising page are final and non-refundable.

If you would like your donors to get a refund, please contact the charity directly. We regret we cannot carry out any refunds without the charity’s express approval.
