Norwich race for life yesterday 4/5/08
My 11 year old daugter and myself did the race yesterday at Norwich, it was a lovely day and a good atmosphere. We went with the joggers, but when it started my daugter decided she wanted to go off on her own and left me at te start line standing, which i didn't mind as she loves running, anyway she managed to do the course in 26mins and came 12th out of 6000+ people which was amazing as you caan guess i am very proud, then i came crawling in at 44mins which was quite good. This morning my legs are dying, but it is for a very good cause so whats a bit of pain at the end of the day considering what people with cancer go through. I will be doing again next year but i think it would be a good idea to do a bit more training as i had a baby on 6th February and didn't have much time. Good luck to anyone doing the race soon.
