An evening with the body shop

Hi

I've had an area rep for Body Shop at home suggest running "An Evening with the Body Shop" to raise funds. I think it sounds like a good idea. Here's what she said she'd done before.

"We held it in a local hall we sold tickets to people £3 before the night £4 on the night. I then brought three other consultants with me who then did the pamper sessions these again were £3 before and £4 on the night these were booked at 15 minute time intervals we did hand massages facials and foot massages. To start the evening up i did a talk a bit about the body shop then about the charity and talked about our products which were around the room for people to try could also do a make up demo?!!

After my chat the pamper sessions started and people could then look at displays at their leisure and can place orders for products. the charity then did tea coffee etc which they made a small charge for and a raffle. We did a free prize draw for everyone that came along on the night we would be looking for anyone who may want a body shop party on a lot small scale in their own home or who would like to join. We then would make a £2 donation for every booking received and would be given once party is held.
On the night the charity received all the door money pamper session money refreshment money and raffle which was just under £300 with about 30 people coming along but the more people we can get to come the better."

What does anyone think of this?
