Wine Gums and jelly beans..... That's what the guy in the bike shop told me today. great for energy !!!

Might struggle to get them in the case but will give it a go.

Had a real strange moment today, my mum's sister who live's in Arizona called to wish me luck and to be safe and what a great thing we are all doing & I could not speak, because my throat dried up, I wanted to cry but stopped myself, and could not speak. (not usual for me, I can tell you !!) Oh bugger, God knows what Thursday is going to be like. Let alone when we all say goodbye to each other

Jools

ps. although really need to get going as eating and eating and eating..

Too much shopping time is a dangerous thing, luckily mine was cut short but not before I was spent out ( hope I've left enough money in the account for the family to eat while I'm away!). Anyway I've got my airport kit and I've gone all pink (not my usual colour) pink buff, earings, bracelet, head band and balloon! Well there was a special offer in Claires accessories and I'm always a sucker for a bargain. I've boosted my shares in boots even further and I found Jool's 1/2 bottles of bubbles in M&S and bought 2 (for a couple of celebrations at the end!!). All I have to do I decide how to get them there in 1 peice.

I am now so excited.......still haven't packed though and tommorrow is such a busy day I could end up with my usual 1 hour before leaving for the airport at this rate.

Hi all, went to Fat Club this morning and wore my T shirt and all were great and wishing me well. I have had quite a few cards and the phone hasn't stopped ringing, I am so touched by all the support.

Im now off for a manicure. wax and neck and shoulder massage then hopefully finally start packing. Have just tried to get my saddle off but the screw was on too tight. I have had t write myself a note to remind myself to get Keith to do it later as I keep worrying I will forget it. Then I went to print off an e-mail to take with me and there was no ink in the printer . (a friend has sent me details of a taxi/guide called Rafik who is Jaipur.Kush is Indian himself and has close contacts with Rafik and he has given him my name and he will help any way he can, don't know how much time we will get in Jaipur, but I feel I should at least ring him to say Hi)

OOOhhh here go the butterflies again!!!!!!!!

How weird is this !!! we go tomorrow, all these months of planning & training and it's here !!!!My case is packed and closed, could not squeeze anything else in, if I tried, and it feels very very heavy. Will keep my fingers crossed at the airport.

Although could not resist the temptation of a pink bandana in Claire's Accessories today, will wear it round my neck and will have my pink ballon as well.

Actually feel very calm today, not sure if I have gone into shut down mode or just sheer shock at the fact that we go tomorrow,  but I do know that I am going to enjoy my bath later with loads of bubbles.. and reslish every moment on the toilet !!! ha ha

See you tomorrow girlies

Jools

Spoke to Su earlier and we were both very calm and relaxed, I am of course lying through my teeth as we were both going gaga! It's been a day full of phone calls though I did enjoy some pampering. I booked a neck and shoulder massage as it was still abit stiff after the weekend. I actually had a full back and it was heavenly so I've booked for the monday after we get back! Out to the pub for tea tonight, but I still haven't packed so I am now going to finally have a go.

If I'm not back later sleep well ladies and I will see you tommorrow

I have final packed, and it was a task, all week I have been saying I haven't got that much but I have packed it an. To be honest it all medical stuff and food, haven't got that many clothes.................so I will stink.

I do hope that I can sleep, if not it will be a very long day!!!!

Hi Gals,
I'm with you Jools, feeling really calm and prepared. Bag packed, mainly with food and wine, not much room left for clothes so you wont be alone in the smelly corner Su.
Just back from the pub, had a great steak and a couple of glasses so am feeling very mellow, nothing to do tomorrow, except maybe paint my nails. have a gym class booked at 7.30am but what the hell, maybe, maybe not.
See you all soon.
Amanda xx

Good luck to everyone in their challanges.

My hubby called from work this afternnon and said rather than cook tea we would all go for tea in the pub at about 7.30. by 8.30 all our friends had turned up which was amazing as I didn't think any of them went to the pub on a wednesday (we usually gather on a friday night!) ,. Then I caught on that he had organised it all, I couldn't believe it and I was so touched that they were all so keen to see me go !!?  Seriously it was really touching, even my daughter's fiance came but she is away at university, so it has been a wonderful night

Still haven't finished mt packing though ........ Huh? [:^)]

Sian.

PS. Did wear my T shirt to the pub though!
